We need football players interested in getting into conditioning for the fall season to come out and throw, jump, sprint. We need basketball and volleyball players to run and high jump, throw discus, javelin. Maybe you just want to get into shape to push yourself to excel. If you want to be a part of EWG’s historic team, come to the meeting. We’ll need to know your sizes because we’re going to get new uniforms!

Freshman and JV State Wrestling meet was held last weekend at
Coventry High School. Medal winners for EWG were, Aaron Armitrano (3rd
place) Derek Persechino (4th place), and Mike Dampier (4th place). The
freshman team came in 11th place out of 34 teams.
There were over 400 competing in this tournament and our boys did a
great job!!!

There are a variety of jobs available within Rhode Island’s network of beautiful state parks, beaches, and campgrounds. Pays range from $7.50 - $13.75. Most jobs are 40 hours per week. The work week includes weekends and holidays with two days off mid-week.

Pulse Dance announcement: Saturday, February 18th there is a dance at the school from 7-10pm. Good music, dancing and glow sticks! The junior class will be the DJ so get your song requests in. The EWG Talent Show is this Friday night at 7:00PM. You’ll hear groups such as “The Front” and “Mid-Life Crisis”. You’ll hear talented singers such as Avery Clair Lucier and others singing music by Adele and other great artists. The show costs only $5.00. Proceeds are going to help reduce the cost of this year’s Fine Arts Department trip to Florida. Come help us raise money and see a great show at the same time- this Friday night- 7:00PM in our auditorium. Mandatory meeting for all performers at 2:00pm today.

- Tomorrow students will be receiving SALT Survey opt-out letters. They need to be returned by Thursday, January 19 if parents don't want their children to take the Salt Survey. The office will keep a list of students whose parents have chosen to opt-out.
- EWG first Wiffleball Tournament is a week away. Be sure to turn in your rosters ASAP.
- Students attending the Ski Trip there is a meeting on Thursday after school in the Auditorium. Every one must attend no excuses!
