Wrestling practice today is cancelled.

Tomorrow is class day, freshman wear gray, sophomores wear white, juniors wear red and seniors wear black!  Juniors class will be selling necklaces in your class color.

Prison ball is tonight from 6-10 pm. Admission is $3 plus a can good.

A reminder that any and all students trying out for boy basketball team should sign up in the senior high office and pick up an information packet. You must sign up in advance in order to try out. See Mr. Main if you have any questions.

Attention the rock show sign ups are due October 22nd. Please hand in your completed form to Grasa Campbell or Cara Woloohojian ASAP to guarantee a spot for your band. Sign up sheets are available in the office. Please contact Grasa if you would like to volunteer on the night of the show.

Sat. the 23rd at 12:45 is the dedication of the new EWG track at the High School.  Come and help us celebrate this great day.  Also on Sun. the 24th we will be holding our 8th annual Stephen J. Anderson Road Race.  Come and join in on the fun.  Hope to see you there.  We are selling raffle tickets for a 50/50 raffle to be drawn at the race.  If you can not make the race and would like to buy tickets contact Sharon at 294-9272.

-The girls JV soccer team will have practice today after school at 2:30, be ready at 2:15 to warm up.

-NAHS (National Art Honors Society) meeting today! Please come to Ms. Lind’s room today, after school for important news. Let Ms. Lind or Annie Dwyer know if you cannot attend.

-National Honors Society is beginning tutoring sessions every Monday in the cafeteria. Students from all grades are welcome to attend.

-Any student planning to try out for the boy’s basketball team should sign up in the senior high office and pick up an information packet. You must sign up in advance in order to try out. See Mr. Main if you have any questions.

-Attention Juniors: you class shirts will be on sale for ten dollars at all lunches and in the office. Support your class and show your spirit!

- Attention all current NHS members and applicants, there is a mandatory meeting right after school on Wednesday October 20th in the library. Everyone must attend; we will be discussing inductee speeches!

- French Club will meet next Wed. October 20th after school in room 213. Please join us to enjoy French food and music, choose a film, and begin more work on the French murals in the hall. Current and past French students and French club members are always welcome.

-There will be a math team meeting this Wed. at 1:45 in room 104. New members are welcome.

Juniors please remember to bring a calculator on Wednesday for day 2 of the NECAP Math Test. 

Wrestling captains practices have started! They will practice every Thursday from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.  All welcome!

JUNIORS: Entertainment books are due by Thursday.  Don’t forget to buy your t-shirt for spirit day.

There will be a math team meeting this Wednesday at 1:45pm in Room 104.  New members are welcome.  If you would like to join the team but cannot attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Purtill.

At Saturday’s Brown Northeast Cross Country Championship, Captain Amy Cunningham placed 1st in RI with a new school record of 19:55. Freshmen Mike Dampier and Don Galloway placed in the top hundred in a race of 500 competitors.  Congratulations to our EWG runners!

DECA Students there will be a brief but mandatory meeting today after school in Mr. Krom’s room regarding DECA so please make every effort to attend!

Academic Decathlon meeting today after school in Guidance.  New members are welcome, see Ms. Healy.

Friday, October 15th

-Next week is spirit week. Be sure to show your class and school spirit by participating. Monday- Twin Day Tuesday- Sports Day Wednesday- Character Day Thursday- Decades Day (Fresh-50, Soph-60, Jun-70,Sen-80) Friday-Class Color Day (Fresh-gray, Soph-white, Jun-red, Sen.-Black) Friday is also the pep rally and the spirit day activities. Be sure to sign up for activities at lunch to represent your class.

-On Tuesday, student council elections were held. Congratulations to Angela Russo, student council president, Katey Acquaro is vice president, Korina Lopez is recording secretary, Kathryn Defrense is corresponding publicity secretary, and Matthew French is school committee representative. Congrats to all board members make our school proud!

-Attention prison ballers get your money and info in to Mr. Krom or Mrs. Kennedy asap!

-If you are interested in going on the senior trip, the $50 deposit is due by Friday Nov. 5th.
