The Academic Decathlon Team competed and the team scored 5 medals. It was a 13 plus hours day and we are all exhausted but in the end it was worth it.

Each of these teams had approximately 15 members or more each, so our little team of 6 did pretty well. Give a thumbs up to these kids when you see them.

Monday, March 22nd

This past weekend was an incredible one for many of our student musicians. The Allstate Festival Concerts were held at Rhode Island College yesterday. There were almost 8 hours of performances in three concerts. Prior to that, on Friday and Saturday there were over 16 hours of rehearsals for groups such as the Honors Band and Honors Chorus, The Junior Allstate Band, The Junior Allstate Chorus, The Senior Allstate Band, The Senior Allstate Orchestra, and The Senior Allstate Chorus. Wow! EWG had kids in all of those groups. The artistic display at these performances was of the highest caliber making for some of the most moving musical experiences for the audience and the musicians. Congratulations goes out to all involved:

Emilie Bard, Kaitlyn Breidenbach, Meagan Brown, Amy Cunningham, Spencer Donovan, Eleni Giannopoulos, Bruce Hagist, Jocelyn Hellested, Courtney Lemois, Amanda Nelson, Kelsey Vivian, Oliver Walsh, Lane West, and Maggie Zarlengo.

Reminder to all Model Legislature members. There will be a brief, but very important meeting immediately after school in 216 at 1:45pm.

Girls softball practice has been changed to 5 to 7 pm in the high school gym due to the weather.

Boys varsity baseball practice will be at 7pm in the gym.

Attention VAASA students: Bring a snack and drink for tomorrows field trip. We will be boarding the bus at 7:30.
